Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time Special Education and ESL teaching position supports K-12 students in a dynamic school setting near Greenfield, MA. The role is itinerant, providing specialized instruction across multiple classrooms while supporting students unique learning needs for the remainder of the school year under a contract arrangement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning abilities in special education programs.
  • Provide English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction tailored to non-native English speakers.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to optimize learning outcomes.
  • Support behavioral and social-emotional development in the school environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with district and state regulatory requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid certification and experience in Special Education teaching.
  • ESL teaching certification or demonstrated expertise in English language acquisition methodologies.
  • Ability to manage diverse classroom environments effectively.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.

Location: Near Greenfield, MA
Schedule: Full-time, itinerant position for the remainder of the school year (contract basis).
