In‑person trainings may also be required throughout the school year. State Assessments During the STAAR and TELPAS state assessment windows, including the summer STAAR session, virtual staff will proctor/administer student assessments at a district testing center. Virtual staff may be assigned to proctor at a site near their residence or at a location that requires intrastate travel and possibly overnight lodging. State assessment dates are contingent to change pending the direction of the TEA.
