Job Title: Locum - Physician - General Medicine

Join a dynamic healthcare facility dedicated to serving our nation's Veterans! We are seeking experienced General Medicine Providers to conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across the country. This position offers the flexibility of a PRN schedule, with options for half-day or full-day shifts.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based evaluations with limited physical assessments, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete medical reporting and any necessary addendums following examinations.
• Engage in regular follow-up administrative work related to exam findings.
• Work as needed, with options to choose shifts that fit your schedule.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
• Possess an active and unrestricted medical license.
• Have AANP certification.
• Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
• Experience in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine is preferred.

Licensure and Certification Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted medical license is a must.
• AANP certification required.
• Completion of DMA training before starting.
