Responsibilities

• Tenant and Vendor Relations: Written and verbal communication with tenants, vendors, and coworkers in a manner that fosters strong working relationships
• Advertise and show available properties
• Leasing Relations - Prepare leases and lease extensions
• Perform tenant move-out and move-in inspections
• Conduct on-site property inspections
• Prioritize and assign maintenance jobs to maintenance technicians and outside vendors, oversee work as necessary, and ensure completion of work
• Collaborate with owners and coworkers to plan and complete tenant improvement and building improvements including obtaining estimates from contractors & negotiating contracts
• Maintain property and tenant related records
• Financial Reporting and Administration/CAM Recs
• General Operations

Qualifications

• 5+years of property management experience including management of commercial real estate
• 2+ years in a supervisory role
• B.S. degree
• Certified Professional Manager
• Certified Property Manager Specialist
• Experience or coursework in project management, and/or real estate finance
• CA Real estate salesperson license
• Understanding of owner's perspective and goals for properties
• Ability to handle difficult or contentious situations with poise, tact, and diplomacy
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks
• Strong management, organization, and customer service skills
• Excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Proficient using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Yardi and QuickBooks
• Detail oriented, self-starter.

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Property management: 5 years (Preferred)
• Finance: 3 years (Preferred)
