Job Description

SKY Ticket Operations Internship

Chicago Sky are seeking a Ticket Ops Intern for to help assist the day-to-day functions of the Ticket Operations Department. This position will also assist in all ticketing aspects throughout the organization. The main responsibilities are processing all ticket sales orders, while assisting with maintaining ticketing and CRM database, and assisting on game-day. Overall, you will gain valuable experience in a professional sport setting using Ticketmaster ticket system and Salesforce CRM.

Start date: February/March 2026
End Date: May 2026 (Opportunity to continue through the end of 2026 season)


Note: While this position gives you invaluable experience in the sports operations/sales world, it is an un-paid position; however, any sales made will receive a commission. You are also eligible for college or university credit.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Selling and processing ticket orders through the Sky CRM and Ticketing database.
  • Updating and filtering the Sky database to ensure accurate information for the ticket department
  • Assisting the Sky organization at events, while interacting with fans and prospects to help sell tickets and promote the Sky.
  • Perform customer service duties on game days upon completion of required ticket needs.
  • Act on behalf of the Chicago Sky and its respective partners and sponsors with enthusiasm, energy, pride, and professionalism.
  • Other duties/projects as assigned from Ticketing Dept.
Qualifications:
  • Working towards or completion of undergraduate and/or graduate degree.
  • Passion to work in the sports industry.
  • Previous experience in a sporting/entertainment environment preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with internal and external staff and clients.
  • Have an outgoing and dynamic personality and willingness to approach people.
  • Knowledge, passion for and interest in the Chicago Sky, Professional Women's Basketball, and the greater Chicago community.
  • Must be willing to travel and interact with a large number of people! Ability to work a flexible schedule with nights, holidays and weekends is a MUST!
